What can I say except that Iain is fantastic. As a joiner, he brings excellent service and beautiful craftsmanship, but you also get friendliness and humour, great advice and the feeling that he cares about the project as much as you do. Iain has repaired or replaced almost all of the (very old and very damaged) windows in my Grade II listed property, as well as French doors, and fitted a new front door. He doesn’t know it yet but the next job will be bespoke interior storage. I can’t recommend him highly enough – I am incredibly picky and hard to please, but I am never disappointed with Iain. His work is always to the highest standard and of the best quality.

Iain has worked on different parts of our home over the years to restore and repair key features of our Grade II Listed, modernist 60s timber house.
Iain is an excellent craftsman with an eye for detail, taking into consideration all our requirements and ideas. We have always been very happy with the outcome of all of the work that Iain has done. His work has included replacement timber frames with full height glazing to replicate the original frames, timber framed rooflights, repairs to existing timber framed glazing, and bespoke joinery for internal doors.
It’s always a pleasure to have Iain at our home, he is reliable, efficient and highly skilled. We’re often sad to see him leave and keen to get him booked in for the next job.

Iain’s a great guy. Very skilled and a pleasure to work with. We had a hand built kitchen made approx. 15 years ago. Having just had a kitchen extension we wanted someone to make additional units to replicate the design and quality of the originals. What a superb job, the quality, attention to detail and the ability to think ahead and anticipate problems are all Iain’s strong points. His jokes might need a bit of updating but we’ll let him off that one.

Iain Flack has done a range of work for us, from building a piece of bespoke furniture to replacing the sashes in our Victorian windows and producing made-to-measure doors from reclaimed wood. His work is of an extremely high standard and the results always look fantastic. Iain Flack has undertaken a large number of joinery projects for me over a twenty year period ranging from making replacement windows, a bed, garage doors, worktops and storage units to building our new kitchen. He always goes to enormous lengths to assess the job properly, talk through the detail and make sure he understands the client’s requirements fully. I have always found his workmanship exceptional and once he has completed a job he is only happy once he knows that I am entirely satisfied with the end result.

Iain manufactured and installed windows in our cottage and did a brilliant job. The windows are an exact match to the old frames and they work properly and don’t stick, no draughts either.
